NEARC Invitation Letter

Dear Resident and Fellow Anesthesiologists,

We are beyond excited to reintroduce our annual New England Anesthesia Resident Conference (NEARC) sponsored by the Massachusetts Society of Anesthesiologists and CORFA. After a few years of delay due to COVID restrictions, we are ready to reintroduce our research symposium to you! This year our 2023 event will be hosted by Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA on May 13, 2023. 

This event is designed to allow residents and fellows to share ideas, present, and network with other anesthesiologists in the New England area. All research, QI projects, unique cases, etc. are welcome for submission.  We truly feel that this is the perfect opportunity to share your academic accolades on a local stage prior to attending ASA or other subspecialty conferences (SCA, SOAP, IARS, etc).  We are also accepting any abstracts from 2022 that you may have presented in the year prior.  In addition, there will be education session with keynote speakers and simulation sessions (see flyer attached).

Of note, because this is a regional conference, submissions are not in conflict with any national requirements for copyrights or exclusive submission to a national conference. It is perfectly fine to submit here AND at such additional conferences say ASA or IARS etc
