The Committee on Anesthesiology Students and Trainees (COAST).
The function of the Committee on Anesthesiology Students and Trainees (COAST) is multifaceted.
It consists of two co-chairs, two co-chair elects, one secretary, one treasurer, one medical school liaison as well as of one medical school student liaison as well as one member of the resident and fellow membership from each of the anesthesiology residency programs within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
The COAST committee serves as a platform for students, resident and fellow members to address issues and concerns specific to their training programs. It also collaborates with other MSA committees and leaders to advocate for the professional development and well-being of residents and fellows in anesthesiology across Massachusetts
