The Young Professional Committees Vision Mission The YoPro committee collaborates with the MSA EC to implement novel initiatives aimed at realizing the collective goals of the MSA and its executive committees. To achieve our mission, we design and implement results oriented annual pilot programs that support the MSA and the communities we serve. Vision To expand the membership of Young Professional’s in the MSA by creating value for these members via learning and mentorship opportunities with experienced Anesthesiologists. Values Our mentorship culture is one of mutual respect, accountability and continuous learning with the goal of enriching the professional careers of both mentors and mentees. Leadership Track The MSA Leadership Track prepares senior anesthesiology trainees for leadership, administration, and advocacy through mentorship, hands-on experience, and a year-long consulting project. Each year, two trainees (rising CA2, CA3, or fellows, young professionals) are selected and paired with mentors, gaining access to funded opportunities such as ASA conferences and the ASA Leadership Academy. The program runs from May to May, offering direct engagement with MSA leadership and professional networks to develop the skills needed for future clinical and administrative roles. |
