A Successful 2024 NEAR Conference Relaunch

The Massachusetts Society of Anesthesiologists (MSA) and its Committee on Anesthesiology Students and Trainees (COAST) is honored to host the first relaunch of The New England Anesthesia Resident (NEAR) Conference since the COVID pandemic! 

In 2024, The NEAR Conference has been reimagined and recreated by the MSA’s  COAST, along with the help of new partnerships, sponsors, and colleagues. We have a renewed agenda with the addition of all new speaker events, breakout sessions, and career fair! 

Even though we have several new offerings this year, the goals of the NEAR Conference remain the same - for medical students, residents, and fellows to have regional opportunities to present their scholarly work, to provide learning beyond the operating rooms, and to create a platform for connection and networking among peers, faculty, and employers.
